Reporting options - Detailed construction

The Construction Detail format provides the most information possible from the REVEAL construction database and is the ideal way to get a clear and comprehensive view of subsurface variations across your network. It does not, however, offer all the features of a bespoke slow speed Road Scheme Investigation.



Note: Internal layer reporting is a REVEAL optional extra

The format is data rich, with information reported on a sub metre scale. Many clients choose to have this information reported graphically as long sections which provide an instant understanding of the underlying construction. Data may also be reported in tabular format.

Detailed Construction reporting is an economic and efficient way to build an understanding of the construction of a road network or scheme, allowing the pavement engineer to:

• design the appropriate treatment option


• calibrate FWD to improve pavement stiffness back-analysis (Note: in sections of highly variable construction relocation issues may result in this information being ineffective. If this is the case please contact Aperio to discuss a scheme level project that will involve slow speed data collection).


• get better value from coring by intelligent targeting


• improve understanding of surface condition data.
