The Aperio road survey capability has been considerably enhanced by the addition of a new Land Rover Discovery dedicated to data collection for the REVEAL construction database in the UK.
The vehicle is fully kitted out with advanced positioning systems, video, and of course, a dedicated 4 channel Ground Penetrating Radar.
Meanwhile, our old favourite Discovery Aperio 01 (273,000 miles and counting) has been given a new lease of life with a refurbishment and an Aperio BGI livery ready to move to Germany to begin building the national database there. The survey team have over 3000km of routes planned for coverage in August alone.
Aperio now have 4 dedicated highway survey vehicles, two in the UK and one heading for Germany. The fourth is in New Zealand.
